Not Adaptable at all..., 2010-02-12
We have a Graco snugride and nothing about the adapter fits. The infant seat is very unsecure. So much so I'm surprised that this is even on the market. We followed the directions and even tried using the foam, which is completely ridiculous. Overall, we're happy with the bob stroller, but I think they're stretching it a bit by saying the adapter works well with infant seats. Its almost false advertising.

Just bought this adapter and the Chicco KeyFit 30. As an other reviewer stated, it works just fine if you remove the lower second bar. Just remove the two screws that hold it and voila, the Chicco KeyFit 30 fits perfectly and secure. [...]
Note how the lower bar is missing and that there is a screw hole now visible where the bar was before.
Fit my Chicco Car Seat, 2010-01-16
I bought the adapter after reading the post of one reviewer where they recommended removing the accessory bar to fit the Chicco. I did the same and it worked fine. The one thing that some people might not like is that there is no lock in or "click" since the system is not compatible. But once you install the styrofoam support block (included) and use the safety strap (included), the only way the Chicco will come out is if you overturn the stroller. In that case, if your child is strapped into their car seat, they should be fine, especially if you keep the carrying arm of the seat in the carry position. I checked with BOB and they will not endorse using any seat other than the ones listed. I'm disappointed that such a popular stroller would not accommodate the larger variety of seats out there but go wonder. Also, I was happy to find out that the adapter can and will be used as a tray once our baby can ride without the car seat, which make the adapter more valuable to me.
Instructions were clear and installing it is very easy. No complaints. Would have given it 5 stars if BOB would have made an effort to support more car seats.

jogging 2.5 weeks post pregnancy, 2009-11-26
wonderful product for a runner's sanity! works perfectly with my graco 32 snugride carseat. i took my baby on her first jog when she was 2.5 weeks old, and she slept the entire time. wonderful on the bumps...no worries about too much jostling.

The BOB car seat adapter is perfect! It makes taking a newborn out for a jog amazingly easy! It also came with the foam block to keep the car seat elevated.
